As soon as you set foot in Sibenik, you know that you’re in a truly special place. While not as famous as Dubrovnik or Split, it’s still extremely beautiful and with plenty to offer. It’s quieter, authentic, and genuinely welcoming.
To make your stay even better, you need to choose an amazing hotel: and, if you looked already, you probably noticed that there are TONS available, from small boutique ones to apartment rentals.
If you feel overwhelmed, worry not: I am here to share the best hotels in Sibenik: perfect price/quality ratio, amazing service, spectacular views, and comfortable rooms. In other words, everything you need for an unforgettable stay!
If you’re in a hurry, here’s a shortlist of my picks. If you have more time to check out all the details, read on to see why each of these made it onto this year’s list – and also two hotels close to the Krka National Park, if you prefer to be there:

Armerun Heritage Hotel & Residences
Located right by the harbor on the edge of Šibenik’s old town, Armerun Heritage Hotel & Residences combines historical charm with modern comfort and some of the most spectacular sea views in the area.
Rooms are elegant and well-equipped, offering air-conditioning, free WiFi, mini-bars, and luxurious bathrooms. Family rooms are available, making it a great choice for both couples and groups.
The on-site restaurant offers an amazing breakfast, with a varied selection of foods: Mediterranean, Italian, and Croatian dishes are mixed in the cozy, stylish setting.
With a sun terrace, spa bath, and sauna, the hotel is perfect for relaxation. Banj Beach (don’t mistake it with Banje Beach in Dubrovnik!), the cathedral, and top sights are just a short walk away.
All in all, the excellent service and unbeatable location make this hotel my top pick and, without a doubt, one of the best in Sibenik.

Bellevue Superior City Hotel

Bellevue Superior City Hotel enjoys a prime waterfront location in central Šibenik, with sweeping sea or city views from every modern, sunlit room. I mean… It’s probably enough if you just look at the photo above, taken in one of the hotel’s rooms, and you will want to be there.
And if you do, know that you’re also within walking distance to the main attractions in the city – the cathedral, old town, and both Barone and St. Michael fortresses.
Rooms come with all the essentials: air conditioning, flat-screen TV, mini-bar, and a safe, plus free, good-quality WiFi.
There’s also a mini pool available if the sea is not your thing, as well as an on-site spa with saunas and a fitness center. The staff here is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere in general is relaxing and perfect for a memorable stay (that is if the views aren’t enough!)

D-Resort Hotel
This huge resort was previously Sibenik’s only 5-star hotel, but it recently dropped to 4 stars. Despite this loss, don’t expect things to have gone badly. D-Resort remains a top choice in the city and offers top quality to its guests.
Located just 3km from the city’s old town area, it’s situated next to a yacht marina and offers large rooms (remaining from its 5-star times), which are modern and luxurious, but also offering breathtaking sea views from private balconies.
You can also unwind at the rooftop restaurant – a must-visit since you’re staying there anyway – which features fine dining with panoramic views of the Adriatic and the city’s historic core. And I don’t even want to mention how perfect the sunset looks from there!
This is a full resort with multiple bars and lounges, various pools (including a heated infinity pool), a spa area with a Turkish hammam, two saunas, and a fitness center. Truth be told, you’ll need a lot of willpower to actually leave this place and explore the town!

ELEVEN
ELEVEN offers a stylish 4-star apartment in Šibenik, just a five-minute walk from the old town and major attractions. The apartment is modern, spacious, air conditioned, and spotlessly clean, with a large terrace that provides stunning sea views – perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.
Despite its location, the area is quiet, so you will rest well while here. Plus, you get the comfort and potential money-saving advantage of a fully equipped kitchenette and washing machine.
Free private parking and bicycle storage are available on site. The hosts are friendly and careful to make your stay perfect, which is what I always look out for when booking private apartments.

Bed & Breakfast The Konoba
Bed & Breakfast The Konoba sits in the heart of Šibenik, making it an ideal base for exploring the city.
This B&B stands out for its spacious, airy rooms, each featuring a private balcony with city views – perfect for a morning coffee or evening relaxation.
All rooms come equipped with a private bathroom, tea and coffee maker, refrigerator, dining table, and wardrobe, offering everything you need for a comfortable stay.
You also have access to a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area. The friendly staff speaks English, German, and Dutch, ensuring smooth communication for international travelers.

Best Hotels Near Krka National Park

If you plan to explore the Krka National Park and you want proximity to it rather than being in the heart of Sibenik, you don’t have plenty of options – but the ones I recommend below are top notch, in nearby towns.
Lozovac and Skradin are two charming towns located right at the entrances to Krka National Park, both within easy reach of Šibenik. Here’s what you should pick:
- Hotel Vrata Krke (4 stars), located just 1 km from the entrance near Lozovac, is comfortable and convenient for accessing the waterfalls. It doesn’t have the highest rating – but most of the lower grades come from before its renovation, which took it from 3 to 4 stars.
- Hotel Skradinski Buk (3 stars) in Skradin is another excellent pick, located just 3 km from the famed Skradinski waterfalls. It consistently earns great reviews for its friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and ideal location for park visitors.
Wraping up

You have the best picks above, so choose the one that ticks best with you and fits your budget.
